The Cult of Jesus Sedition Spelled Out and Signed

Before you wade through the sedition, the pernicious lies, half-truths and pure unreasoned bigotry below, authored by The Cults of Jesus signatories, it is important to understand just where the terrorist threat in the United States today arises from and this document spells that out clearly.  The Christian Jihadists, the fundamentalists are the single largest threat to the peace and tranquility of this great nation that exist today.  The demonstration as contained in this “declaration” make clear the intent of these individuals.

Hate-mongering and fear-mongering these fundamentalists are the biggest terrorist threat to our nation today.  My gut instinct is to pray that they are charged with sedition for this type of arrogant hate crime but then the rights to free speech that we all enjoy would be at risk.  I can deal with the words but the acts that these creatures precipitate brought us Matthew Shepard.

Here’s what the New York Times take is on “The Manhattan Declaration: A Call of Christian Conscience”

The signers include nine Roman Catholic archbishops and the primate of the Orthodox Church in America.  They want to signal to the Obama administration and to Congress that they are still a formidable force that will not compromise on abortion, stem-cell research or gay marriage.  They hope to influence current debate over health care reform, the same-sex marriage bill in Washington, DC and the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, which would prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation.

I have made commentary in red throughout this text, this diatribe of pernicious and malicious intent, that clearly defines the Cult of Jesus agenda within the United States today, is abhorrent and without merit. It is my goal and my intent to assist where possible to bring public opinion to bear against these individuals.

The Manhattan Declaration

Christians are heirs of a 2,000-year tradition of proclaiming God’s word, seeking justice in our societies, resisting tyranny, and reaching out with compassion to the poor, oppressed and suffering.

Christians are the inheritors of a tradition, a Cult of Jesus, that from the seat of power in Rome has re-set the calendar to align Christian Holidays with Pagan Holidays, has re-written and revised the Bible to suit their political needs of the day and demonstrate in their acts of fear and hate mongering that they are unable or unwilling to lead lives that are “Christ-like” by any stretch of the imagination.  The Cult of Jesus of today is apparently unable to behave in an American manner and be content with the freedom of religion they have and hold but demand now to inflict their religious values and terms upon us all.  Sinful by any stretch of the imagination.

While fully acknowledging the imperfections and shortcomings of Christian institutions and communities in all ages, we claim the heritage of those Christians who defended innocent life by rescuing discarded babies from trash heaps in Roman cities and publicly denouncing the Empire’s sanctioning of infanticide. We remember with reverence those believers who sacrificed their lives by remaining in Roman cities to tend the sick and dying during the plagues, and who died bravely in the Coliseum rather than deny their Lord.

From the behavior of the Fundamentalists today the Romans may well have had the right idea.  Let us also remember clearly the Spanish Inquisition, the Crusades, the denial of women’s rights and the witch hunts all too prevalent among superstitious cretins who proselytize for a philosophy that they are unable to live.  They acknowledge the past mistakes and yet continue on their path of self-proclaimed righteousness today endeavoring to deny civil rights to classes of citizen with whom they disagree.  You may freely “proclaim” any heritage you so desire but the Bigotry, the Hate and malice you spew in your vitriolic diatribes against some imagined slight to you personally by other humans leading honest lives is not an acceptable behavior in the United States of America.  Proclaim away in front of a mirror where it will fall on ears equally as deaf as those you attempt to threaten and influence through declarations. With the most recent and costly Gay molestation by Roman Catholic Priests the foundation for your hate and bigotry are clearly seen and understood by honest humans.

After the barbarian tribes overran Europe, Christian monasteries preserved not only the Bible but also the literature and art of Western culture. It was Christians who combated the evil of slavery: Papal edicts in the 16th and 17th centuries decried the practice of slavery and first excommunicated anyone involved in the slave trade; evangelical Christians in England, led by John Wesley and William Wilberforce, put an end to the slave trade in that country. Christians under Wilberforce’s leadership also formed hundreds of societies for helping the poor, the imprisoned, and child laborers chained to machines.

Re-writing history seems to be a Christian Ethic.  It was the Catholic Church that suppressed any scientific exploration of the universe around us from Galileo to Michelangelo and DaVinci, burned Joan of Arc at the stake for witchcraft because women are unfit vessels to communicate with God.  The Roman Catholic and Lutheran Schism fed off the feudal system while manipulation of international politics was the Roman Catholic’s primary focus in Europe for 600 years.  I’m sure you feel the need to lie about these topics because history, the real history, not the history that the Catholic Church or misinformed charlatans spew, paints a very different picture from the altered truth espoused here.  The Church preserved only what it felt was Godly and not heretical and suppressed knowledge for it’s own gain for centuries.  Genocide of American Natives, African Natives, South American Natives have all been accomplished in the name of Christ and the Cults of Jesus have spread their plague of intolerance and hate globally for too long.

In Europe, Christians challenged the divine claims of kings and successfully fought to establish the rule of law and balance of governmental powers, which made modern democracy possible. And in America, Christian women stood at the vanguard of the suffrage movement. The great civil rights crusades of the 1950s and 60s were led by Christians claiming the Scriptures and asserting the glory of the image of God in every human being regardless of race, religion, age or class.

The Founding Fathers of the United States of America were so well-informed of the intent of the Church and religious bigotry espoused that they insisted on separation of Church and State.  In America it was the Cult of Jesus that upheld the tradition of slavery in that persons of color were not equal to the Roman Catholic or Protestant Western European simply on the basis of pigmentation and did bare knuckle battle through the Civil War and 100 years beyond to uphold that God-given right to Hate.  Catholic women were excommunicated for their sufferance and demanded free and equal status because of the Church defined roles of breeding stock and chattel as their lots in life.  Women shall “obey” their husbands is Church doctrine today.  Just because you say a thing doesn’t make it true and your collar only brands you as an accomplished liar, your vestments identify you as a fraud.

This same devotion to human dignity has led Christians in the last decade to work to end the dehumanizing scourge of human trafficking and sexual slavery, bring compassionate care to AIDS sufferers in Africa, and assist in a myriad of other human rights causes – from providing clean water in developing nations to providing homes for tens of thousands of children orphaned by war, disease and gender discrimination.

You’ve really gone off the deep end now.  I suppose that it wasn’t required to import boys for the Catholic Priests to molest since birth control and contraception are banned by the Catholic Church.  The Catholic Church bans condoms, the easiest way to prevent the spread of AIDS.  The Cult of Jesus is responsible within the United States for declaring that AIDS is “God’s Punishment of Homosexuals” as preached by illustrious Cult of Jesus representatives like the Reverend Fred Phelps.  The cost of your aid and assistance in clean water and minimal foods or medicine is a cultural genocide in a very cold, calculation of the Papacy to subvert cultures and indoctrinate new flocks and produce more ill-informed breeding stock with manipulation through guilt and dishonor.   Your Cult of Jesus education is focused on propaganda and half-truth with the intent to subvert the souls of those upon whom you inflict this.

Like those who have gone before us in the faith, Christians today are called to proclaim the Gospel of costly grace, to protect the intrinsic dignity of the human person and to stand for the common good. In being true to its own calling, the call to discipleship, the church through service to others can make a profound contribution to the public good.

Where is the Catholic Church in housing the homeless, feeding the hungry or tending to their flock?  They are wrapped in their vestments, within their multimillion dollar properties feeding off the backs of the poor, the poorly educated that they maintain to serve them.  Sell the Vatican,  liquidate the treasures of the Catholic Church and solve the problems you “pray” to resolve.  It’s all smoke and mirrors lies and fraud.  Which one among you have crossed over, spoken with your saviour and can provide documentation beyond a shadow of a doubt that an after-life exists?

The only “public good” that your Cult of Jesus accomplishes is the good donation from the newly confirmed within your addiction.  The Cult of Jesus Catholic Crazies even go so far as to threaten to cease services to the poor based on political fears that honest humans may prevail in their fight for equality for all.  The lies and deceit are exposed and we honest humans pray your congregations dwindle and fade for the truth of your good works.

We, as Orthodox, Catholic, and Evangelical Christians, have gathered, beginning in New York on September 28, 2009, to make the following declaration, which we sign as individuals, not on behalf of our organizations, but speaking to and from our communities. We act together in obedience to the one true God, the triune God of holiness and love, who has laid total claim on our lives and by that claim calls us with believers in all ages and all nations to seek and defend the good of all who bear his image. We set forth this declaration in light of the truth that is grounded in Holy Scripture, in natural human reason (which is itself, in our view, the gift of a beneficent God), and in the very nature of the human person. We call upon all people of goodwill, believers and non-believers alike, to consider carefully and reflect critically on the issues we here address as we, with St. Paul, commend this appeal to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God.

The fear mongering mob has gathered and like St Paul your divisive “knowledge” of Holy relics, the divine direction of the Bible and the directions contained within the Bible are your opinion and sole excuse for summoning up the topic of conscience and divine spark in human intelligence.  Any human of intelligence is able to see and know the base intent of the Cults of Jesus is self-serving in enrichment of the church and not good works for man.  In the sight of God you are known, recognized as hypocrite and fraud and are not representative, by any stretch of the imagination, of the conscience of man or woman or American.  Your Cult of Jesus words only effect those who you approve and those who are beyond are ostracized because you require an enemy to maintain your Cult of Hate in unity.

While the whole scope of Christian moral concern, including a special concern for the poor and vulnerable, claims our attention, we are especially troubled that in our nation today the lives of the unborn, the disabled, and the elderly are severely threatened; that the institution of marriage, already buffeted by promiscuity, infidelity and divorce, is in jeopardy of being redefined to accommodate fashionable ideologies; that freedom of religion and the rights of conscience are gravely jeopardized by those who would use the instruments of coercion to compel persons of faith to compromise their deepest convictions.

The issue of abortion is very close to the Cult of Jesus because increasing the flock, out-breeding the competition is the exclusive domain of the Church.  In caring for the infirmed and elderly you again are driven by the donation of wealth to the Church by those upon whom you prey.  As for marriage within your community of “love” the history is not pretty.  How does anyone threaten your belief system by proclamation of love for one and other?  Isn’t love divine inspiration and the nurturing and cultivation of love the goal of the Church?  That your Cults of Jesus are able to render hate within these institutions of God speaks eloquent volumes of the fraud you perpetrate.  May the hate you demonstrate be returned a hundred times over.

Because the sanctity of human life, the dignity of marriage as a union of husband and wife, and the freedom of conscience and religion are foundational principles of justice and the common good, we are compelled by our Christian faith to speak and act in their defense. In this declaration we affirm: 1) the profound, inherent, and equal dignity of every human being as a creature fashioned in the very image of God, possessing inherent rights of equal dignity and life; 2) marriage as a conjugal union of man and woman, ordained by God from the creation, and historically understood by believers and non-believers alike, to be the most basic institution in society and; 3) religious liberty, which is grounded in the character of God, the example of Christ, and the inherent freedom and dignity of human beings created in the divine image.

What would Jesus do?   The image of throwing the money changers out of the temple is immediately summoned to mind.  Do you have the inside track to the mind of God?  Do you claim to speak directly to God and by his instruction you deliver your Hate into this world?  Return and debate the requirements for circumcision if you must inflict pain upon humans and I pray the result is just as damning as it is to St Paul.  We, humans, are created in the Divine image as is everything contained in this Universe and you, arrogant and militant pompous asses declare that you have the only path to love and sanctity of union?  How dare you?  For you, I’m sure the Earth is still flat and the center of the universe.

We are Christians who have joined together across historic lines of ecclesial differences to affirm our right—and, more importantly, to embrace our obligation—to speak and act in defense of these truths. We pledge to each other, and to our fellow believers, that no power on earth, be it cultural or political, will intimidate us into silence or acquiescence. It is our duty to proclaim the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in its fullness, both in season and out of season. May God help us not to fail in that duty.

Your Cults of Jesus have perverted an extension of the Jewish religion into a vile and despicable Cult of hate-mongering and fearful fools who have no faith in God apparent within these acts and statements of hate.  Your “Gospel” of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is man’s words of religion, translated, censored and subverted through time.  The Gospel you proclaim is a perverse tool from which you proof-text to inflame hate, inspire bigotry and resurrect the most vile and base instincts of man through mob mentality.  Jesus Christ, the Lord and Savior, is surely in tears of embarrassment and horror at your acts today.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. Genesis 1:27

And let’s not forget Lilith or the talking snake.  There are several versions of this creation theory that science demonstrates as pure rubbish from superstition and the limited grasp of primitive minds attempting to explain the world they lived within.  I have no problem with any Cult of Jesus philosophy providing you do not inflict it upon me or my children.  Believe as you will but I find the mystery and the magic of science right down to the Divinity of Quantum Mechanics much more valid and accurate in my world’s view than talking snakes and disagreement from superstition.

I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10

For the Cult of Jesus this “life” is only for those who conform.  That’s cool.  I’m a definite non-conformist and just can’t bring myself to adhere to this kind of trash talk.

Although public sentiment has moved in a pro-life direction, we note with sadness that pro-abortion ideology prevails today in our government. The present administration is led and staffed by those who want to make abortions legal at any stage of fetal development, and who want to provide abortions at taxpayer expense. Majorities in both houses of Congress hold pro-abortion views. The Supreme Court, whose infamous 1973 decision in Roe v. Wade stripped the unborn of legal protection, continues to treat elective abortion as a fundamental constitutional right, though it has upheld as constitutionally permissible some limited restrictions on abortion. The President says that he wants to reduce the “need” for abortion—a commendable goal. But he has also pledged to make abortion more easily and widely available by eliminating laws prohibiting government funding, requiring waiting periods for women seeking abortions, and parental notification for abortions performed on minors. The elimination of these important and effective pro-life laws cannot reasonably be expected to do other than significantly increase the number of elective abortions by which the lives of countless children are snuffed out prior to birth. Our commitment to the sanctity of life is not a matter of partisan loyalty, for we recognize that in the thirty-six years since Roe v. Wade, elected officials and appointees of both major political parties have been complicit in giving legal sanction to what Pope John Paul II described as “the culture of death.” We call on all officials in our country, elected and appointed, to protect and serve every member of our society, including the most marginalized, voiceless, and vulnerable among us.

What is it that you Cult of Jesus Crazies are unable to grasp in this Roe v Wade decision that allows a woman to control her body?  Get your nose out of the Uterus and out of the bedroom and mind your own damned business.  Abortion is a difficult decision for any woman to make and the choice lays within her conscious and her conditions in life.  Hold to your beliefs but do not inflict them upon me.  I will support to my dying breath the right of any woman to decide what to do with her body and how to come to terms with the sanctity of life.  God provided us the technology and provides us the intelligence and the decision is between a woman, her partner and her God.  The issue is closed and will not be revisited.

As for your lies about President Obama’s position; President Obama is very clear in his statements of “no federal funding for abortion” now and always.  Just because you say a thing doesn’t make that thing true.  You loose credibility by leaps and bounds with this kind of pernicious lie and fraudulent position.  The majority of Americans are pro-choice because they keep their noses out of other womens’ uterus just like the Cult of Jesus should.  I propose fetal transplants and let the clergy cary and raise the unborn.  If you feel that strongly then use your own uterus.  If your flocks are decreasing then so be it and recognize that is a direct response to the fraud and lies you perpetrate in the name of your God of Hate and control.

A culture of death inevitably cheapens life in all its stages and conditions by promoting the belief that lives that are imperfect, immature or inconvenient are discardable. As predicted by many prescient persons, the cheapening of life that began with abortion has now metastasized. For example, human embryo-destructive research and its public funding are promoted in the name of science and in the cause of developing treatments and cures for diseases and injuries. The President and many in Congress favor the expansion of embryo-research to include the taxpayer funding of so-called “therapeutic cloning.” This would result in the industrial mass production of human embryos to be killed for the purpose of producing genetically customized stem cell lines and tissues. At the other end of life, an increasingly powerful movement to promote assisted suicide and “voluntary” euthanasia threatens the lives of vulnerable elderly and disabled persons. Eugenic notions such as the doctrine of lebensunwertes Leben (“life unworthy of life”) were first advanced in the 1920s by intellectuals in the elite salons of America and Europe. Long buried in ignominy after the horrors of the mid-20th century, they have returned from the grave. The only difference is that now the doctrines of the eugenicists are dressed up in the language of “liberty,” “autonomy,” and “choice.”

The Cults of Jesus are well versed with Lebensunwertes Leben in their acts of Crusades, the Inquisition, the burning of women perceived as Witches, the heretics, the suppression of knowledge and the lack of value of all life in the now as “it is only in the after-life that you will find your reward” fraud perpetrated upon the masses of mindless followers of this doctrine of hate that too often overlooks the crimes against humanity it commits daily.  The medical miracles created by stem-cell medical advancements are becoming more documented as the ability to make use of these cells in open research is resuming after Bush killed the work.  The promise of help in geriatric medicine is beyond miraculous and yet these Cult of Jesus crazies are still ranting about the use of stem cells and cloning for organ replacements.  I remember too well the outcry from the Pope with the first heart transplant and the apocalypse didn’t happen then and it won’t happen now.  I will happily adhere to my life, liberty, free will and choice and support any and all of my brothers and sisters in obtaining freedom to practice the religion of their choice or elect freedom from religion.  The Cults of Jesus are cultures of Death with a basic fraud of “life after death” that one must live within the confines of rules established by the mother church and that’s not good enough for me.  If there is a life after death I will know it when my death is upon me and not a moment sooner.  I will not live in fear of that and I will not fear the Church because I see and know the Church, the Cults of Jesus, to be of man’s creation and man has nearly destroyed God’s creation in this Earth we all must live within. The Cults of Jesus are not good stewards of this Earth nor are they the conscious of this Great Nation.  The Cults of Jesus are petty, fear and hate-mongering creatures who are best ignored and left to wither into history.

We will be united and untiring in our efforts to roll back the license to kill that began with the abandonment of the unborn to abortion. We will work, as we have always worked, to bring assistance, comfort, and care to pregnant women in need and to those who have been victimized by abortion, even as we stand resolutely against the corrupt and degrading notion that it can somehow be in the best interests of women to submit to the deliberate killing of their unborn children. Our message is, and ever shall be, that the just, humane, and truly Christian answer to problem pregnancies is for all of us to love and care for mother and child alike.

And this statement couldn’t be further from the truth.  The Fundamentalist Cult of Jesus is primary in the creation of teen pregnancy with its doctrines of sexual ignorance and inhuman intolerance.  More pregnant teens of Cult of Jesus communities end up homeless and lost because of the hate, intolerance and pure ignorance of humanity that you profess and inflict upon this world.  This position of hate is what you espouse and what is the reality for too many young women today and it is well know, socially documented, and a scandal and plague upon the Cults of Jesus that pregnant teens are often thrown out of their “loving” Cult of Jesus home to fend for themselves.  The lies and the fraud become deeper and more concerning with each breath contained in this declaration of deciet.

A truly prophetic Christian witness will insistently call on those who have been entrusted with temporal power to fulfill the first responsibility of government: to protect the weak and vulnerable against violent attack, and to do so with no favoritism, partiality, or discrimination. The Bible enjoins us to defend those who cannot defend themselves, to speak for those who cannot themselves speak. And so we defend and speak for the unborn, the disabled, and the dependent. What the Bible and the light of reason make clear, we must make clear. We must be willing to defend, even at risk and cost to ourselves and our institutions, the lives of our brothers and sisters at every stage of development and in every condition.

Once again the Separation of Church and State is the LAW of man within this great nation by design of our Founding Fathers who were much more subject to the fraud, tyranny, lies and political manipulation of the Church than we Free Americans.  I am free from religion and have no desire to have your religious attitudes or platitudes inflicted upon my life.  You, the Cult of Jesus, make it perfectly clear in your hate-mongering that I, a human, am of no value to you unless paying into your collection plate and subjugated to your will.  You, therefore are of no value to me.  It’s simple, quick and without recourse.  Keep your noses out of my bedroom, out of women’s uterus and out of the political arena where you are not welcome within a free society that desires liberty, life and the pursuit of happiness.  Your declaration is bordering on seditious in intent and your 22 million mindless sheep are no majority. You are a pernicious and real threat to the security of this nation through your incendiary speech directed to humans of whom you have no knowledge.  You are the Nazi Brown Shirts and your Krystal Nacht will not occur on US soil because we will walk away from your lies and fraud so fast that your church will collapse from the departing wind.

Our concern is not confined to our own nation. Around the globe, we are witnessing cases of genocide and “ethnic cleansing,” the failure to assist those who are suffering as innocent victims of war, the neglect and abuse of children, the exploitation of vulnerable laborers, the sexual trafficking of girls and young women, the abandonment of the aged, racial oppression and discrimination, the persecution of believers of all faiths, and the failure to take steps necessary to halt the spread of preventable diseases like AIDS. We see these travesties as flowing from the same loss of the sense of the dignity of the human person and the sanctity of human life that drives the abortion industry and the movements for assisted suicide, euthanasia, and human cloning for biomedical research. And so ours is, as it must be, a truly consistent ethic of love and life for all humans in all circumstances.

Unless you are Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual or Transgendered and then you are not worthy in the eyes of the Cults of Jesus to hold equal civil rights.  It doesn’t matter what kind of loving, caring and giving human you may be.  You are not entitled to love the person of your choice, you are not allowed to live as you chose and unless you conform; you are not worthy of respect.  There is only consistent Hate, Bigotry and deception delivered by the Cults of Jesus.  The Cults of Jesus know all about genocide because they’ve practiced it long and hard.  The Cults of Jesus know all about war and hate and misery and are the root and foundation of 99.9% of the ills of the world while raking in the cash that keeps them feeding off the masses…  Job security for the Cults of Jesus.  Today it’s the LGBT community, in the most recent past it was the Black Community, the Pagan Community, the Jews, the Muslims anyone or anything different from their narrow and cowardly view is the next victim to be vilified and unite the mob of the Cult of Jesus addicts.

The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called woman, for she was taken out of man.” For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh. Genesis 2:23-24

And what of Lillith?  What of the “immaculate conception” and the application of the laws of Leviticus that call for adulterers to be stoned to death?  How can you justify within this context “the original sin” and yet glorify your concept of marriage?  The Cults of Jesus are unable to provide explanation of and for these contradictions within their philosophies created by man and not of God because man is “flawed” yet he (or she) is created in God’s image.  Is God therefore flawed?

This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband. Ephesians 5:32-33

Love and respect are not terms that the Cults of Jesus grasp.  Ownership of women, the Jewish laws of sexual roles and the tribal reality of when these passages were penned are all wrapped up in this mythology.  Ask the 3.9 million battered women in the USA how the Cults of Jesus are a “loving and respectful” religion and be prepared for the answer.  The Cults of Jesus condone domestic violence and they promote it through this mythological tool of obedience to patriarchy.

In Scripture, the creation of man and woman, and their one-flesh union as husband and wife, is the crowning achievement of God’s creation. In the transmission of life and the nurturing of children, men and women joined as spouses are given the great honor of being partners with God Himself. Marriage then, is the first institution of human society—indeed it is the institution on which all other human institutions have their foundation. In the Christian tradition we refer to marriage as “holy matrimony” to signal the fact that it is an institution ordained by God, and blessed by Christ in his participation at a wedding in Cana of Galilee. In the Bible, God Himself blesses and holds marriage in the highest esteem.

I’m so happy to hear that Orgasm is God.  It is so reassuring to know that “the original sin” is the foundation for your faith.  Perhaps that explains why the Catholic Priests molested boys and girls to orgasm to introduce them to God.  And the God of the Cults of Jesus doesn’t make junk in the polymory of the union of man, woman and God.  The union of my husband and I in a life-long committed relationship was as eloquent and divine an intercourse as any between a man and woman.  We loved, we cared, we honored and protected one and other without reservation and the God we know has poured blessings upon our lives as a result of the love between us.  No man, no Cult of Jesus crazy can alter the sanctity of the union we share.  We do not require the mystical blessings of a Shaman from the Cults of Jesus to bless our union but know God directly without the middle-man and without the guilt of original sin.

Vast human experience confirms that marriage is the original and most important institution for sustaining the health, education, and welfare of all persons in a society. Where marriage is honored, and where there is a flourishing marriage culture, everyone benefits—the spouses themselves, their children, the communities and societies in which they live. Where the marriage culture begins to erode, social pathologies of every sort quickly manifest themselves. Unfortunately, we have witnessed over the course of the past several decades a serious erosion of the marriage culture in our own country. Perhaps the most telling—and alarming—indicator is the out-of-wedlock birth rate. Less than fifty years ago, it was under 5 percent. Today it is over 40 percent. Our society—and particularly its poorest and most vulnerable sectors, where the out-of-wedlock birth rate is much higher even than the national average—is paying a huge price in delinquency, drug abuse, crime, incarceration, hopelessness, and despair. Other indicators are widespread non-marital sexual cohabitation and a devastatingly high rate of divorce.

“Vast human experience” is the evolution of the primate pack that Homo sapiens arose from that knows no concept of marriage but preserves family.  The Cults of Jesus find it so very simple to lay the woes of the world upon the erosion of the “sanctity of marriage” when the reality is very different.  The Cult of Jesus proof-texts for this within their societal view just as they proof-text the Bible to fit the mood of the day.  The reality of living within a repressive Cult of Jesus culture is the exact plague upon society that you so eloquently describe.  The Cult of Jesus is not able to inform their members of honest human relationships because those are few and far between within the hate-mongering, fear-mongering and paying attention to everything but your own damned business culture they create and it shows.  Does the Church grow poor supporting these flocks of their creation?  What does the Cult of Jesus do to help solve these social ills?  Prayer and collection to buy more property, make more investment and hoard more cash is the goal of the Cults of Jesus.  It’s big business.

We confess with sadness that Christians and our institutions have too often scandalously failed to uphold the institution of marriage and to model for the world the true meaning of marriage. Insofar as we have too easily embraced the culture of divorce and remained silent about social practices that undermine the dignity of marriage we repent, and call upon all Christians to do the same.

The LGBT community sets a high standard for and of marriage within our unions.  What is to fear?  In Massachusetts the divorce rate has drastically declined since Gay Marriages have become legal.  Perhaps the Cults of Jesus would better serve their flocks by understanding the reality of this and supporting LGBT marriage equality instead of the lies and fraud that they espouse currently in their positions of hate and bigotry.

To strengthen families, we must stop glamorizing promiscuity and infidelity and restore among our people a sense of the profound beauty, mystery, and holiness of faithful marital love. We must reform ill-advised policies that contribute to the weakening of the institution of marriage, including the discredited idea of unilateral divorce. We must work in the legal, cultural, and religious domains to instill in young people a sound understanding of what marriage is, what it requires, and why it is worth the commitment and sacrifices that faithful spouses make.

Within a Biblical tribal society, a medieval feudal society or even an early agricultural society when life-spans were often only 30 to 40 years at best, the sanctity of marriage and the requirement of two adults laboring to rear children were much more important than within the current cultures of Western Civilizations.  My experience with parents married over 50 years is a blessing but is more the exception than the rule.  The Cults of Jesus are not equipped to deal with honest humans and modern cultural pressures because they adhere to an ideology that is without any points of reference within this century. The Cults of Jesus are unable to pull themselves into the twenty-first century because of the lies, fraud and bigotry that is proselytized here in this “declaration” of Hate.  It is not possible to love, honor and respect another human within the confines of the Cult of Jesus shamanic view of “marriage” because, as an institution of man, it is inherently flawed but preserved as the preferred method to increase the flocks just as the ram is maintained to multiply with the ewe to increase the flock.  Providing special rights to a “religious” institution as marriage is defined within this declaration is unconstitutional and will not be upheld in America.

The impulse to redefine marriage in order to recognize same-sex and multiple partner relationships is a symptom, rather than the cause, of the erosion of the marriage culture. It reflects a loss of understanding of the meaning of marriage as embodied in our civil and religious law and in the philosophical tradition that contributed to shaping the law. Yet it is critical that the impulse be resisted, for yielding to it would mean abandoning the possibility of restoring a sound understanding of marriage and, with it, the hope of rebuilding a healthy marriage culture. It would lock into place the false and destructive belief that marriage is all about romance and other adult satisfactions, and not, in any intrinsic way, about procreation and the unique character and value of acts and relationships whose meaning is shaped by their aptness for the generation, promotion and protection of life. In spousal communion and the rearing of children (who, as gifts of God, are the fruit of their parents’ marital love), we discover the profound reasons for and benefits of the marriage covenant.

The basic lie and fraud you perpetrate within this is that we LGBT humans are not able to procreate, do not have children and are without families.  I have a strong family, I have raised children and am enjoying grandchildren.  I know the profound reasons for the marriage covenant and have no use for the bigotry your Cult of Jesus spews by making broad-sweeping generalizations about same-sex and multiple partners in the same thought.  This is perhaps a bit too expressive of the repressed sexuality of the authors who obviously have an imagination of what same-sex relationships are all about.  I pity your poor ignorance and know that the God of love that I learned of as a child has kept me free from the hate and vitriol that your Cult of Jesus spews without foundation in reality or truth.  I have raised my children within a committed relationship and paid the additional costs of having to defend my family from the bigotry and hate of the Cults of Jesus on too many occasions to idly sit by and tolerate this kind of hate and vitriolic bullshit from ignorant, arrogant sub-humans who feel they have some special place within the culture because of the hate they espouse.  By what special rights or privileges do you decide who is or who is not committed within a relationship between two humans?

We acknowledge that there are those who are disposed towards homosexual and polyamorous conduct and relationships, just as there are those who are disposed towards other forms of immoral conduct. We have compassion for those so disposed; we respect them as human beings possessing profound, inherent, and equal dignity; and we pay tribute to the men and women who strive, often with little assistance, to resist the temptation to yield to desires that they, no less than we, regard as wayward. We stand with them, even when they falter. We, no less than they, are sinners who have fallen short of God’s intention for our lives. We, no less than they, are in constant need of God’s patience, love and forgiveness. We call on the entire Christian community to resist sexual immorality, and at the same time refrain from disdainful condemnation of those who yield to it. Our rejection of sin, though resolute, must never become the rejection of sinners. For every sinner, regardless of the sin, is loved by God, who seeks not our destruction but rather the conversion of our hearts. Jesus calls all who wander from the path of virtue to “a more excellent way.” As his disciples we will reach out in love to assist all who hear the call and wish to answer it.

I’m sure that you take great comfort within the “hate the sin but love the sinner” especially with that vivid imagination of same-sex and multiple partner sex that is pervasive within your preaching on this instance.  Is it getting a bit warm for you?  Your Cult of Jesus fraud and lies do absolutely nothing to diminish the love, support and joy within the relationship I hold.  You offer no solution to the LGBT community and to deny the equal rights under the law of the protections that marriage infers upon two humans and their children is an illness guaranteed to send you straight into the fiery pits of hell that you so deserve for spewing this kind of filth and vitriol about humans you have no knowledge of.  I am able to make moral decisions of and for myself and I do not require the Cult of Jesus to know right from wrong. Let no man judge.

We further acknowledge that there are sincere people who disagree with us, and with the teaching of the Bible and Christian tradition, on questions of sexual morality and the nature of marriage. Some who enter into same-sex and polyamorous relationships no doubt regard their unions as truly marital. They fail to understand, however, that marriage is made possible by the sexual complementarity of man and woman, and that the comprehensive, multi-level sharing of life that marriage is includes bodily unity of the sort that unites husband and wife biologically as a reproductive unit. This is because the body is no mere extrinsic instrument of the human person, but truly part of the personal reality of the human being. Human beings are not merely centers of consciousness or emotion, or minds, or spirits, inhabiting non-personal bodies. The human person is a dynamic unity of body, mind, and spirit. Marriage is what one man and one woman establish when, forsaking all others and pledging lifelong commitment, they found a sharing of life at every level of being—the biological, the emotional, the dispositional, the rational, the spiritual—on a commitment that is sealed, completed and actualized by loving sexual intercourse in which the spouses become one flesh, not in some merely metaphorical sense, but by fulfilling together the behavioral conditions of procreation. That is why in the Christian tradition, and historically in Western law, consummated marriages are not dissoluble or annullable on the ground of infertility, even though the nature of the marital relationship is shaped and structured by its intrinsic orientation to the great good of procreation.

Well at least we know you have some idea of the basic mechanics but who are you to decide what is “truly a union of the flesh?”  Your bigotry, fear and pure ignorance of human sexuality, of the joy of God’s union of the flesh is clearly defined in your Cult of Jesus narrow and petty constructs.  It’s a big universe and your little mind is lost if you truly believe the garbage you spew.  The “great good of procreation” is a Cult of Jesus code for keeping the flock growing and those donations coming in on Sunday in the collection plate.  It is not driven by morality but money as in all the Cults of Jesus institutions.

We understand that many of our fellow citizens, including some Christians, believe that the historic definition of marriage as the union of one man and one woman is a denial of equality or civil rights. They wonder what to say in reply to the argument that asserts that no harm would be done to them or to anyone if the law of the community were to confer upon two men or two women who are living together in a sexual partnership the status of being “married.” It would not, after all, affect their own marriages, would it? On inspection, however, the argument that laws governing one kind of marriage will not affect another cannot stand. Were it to prove anything, it would prove far too much: the assumption that the legal status of one set of marriage relationships affects no other would not only argue for same sex partnerships; it could be asserted with equal validity for polyamorous partnerships, polygamous households, even adult brothers, sisters, or brothers and sisters living in incestuous relationships. Should these, as a matter of equality or civil rights, be recognized as lawful marriages, and would they have no effects on other relationships? No. The truth is that marriage is not something abstract or neutral that the law may legitimately define and re-define to please those who are powerful and influential.

Back to the old fear mongering and hate tactics again.  It’s really boring to hear this kind of diatribe that is unfounded in fact and based solely upon the fear that all men are created equal.  The Cults of Jesus want to be just a little more equal than anyone else.  Bigots, fear-mongers, liars and frauds are exposed clearly in this line of rationalization without any foundation in fact.  The Catholic Church did, in fact, marry brothers and sisters, cousins and family members to family members throughout the ruling houses of Europe without any remorse or understanding of human genetics.  There’s that poor memory for history working away again in the Cults of Jesus.

No one has a civil right to have a non-marital relationship treated as a marriage. Marriage is an objective reality—a covenantal union of husband and wife—that it is the duty of the law to recognize and support for the sake of justice and the common good. If it fails to do so, genuine social harms follow. First, the religious liberty of those for whom this is a matter of conscience is jeopardized. Second, the rights of parents are abused as family life and sex education programs in schools are used to teach children that an enlightened understanding recognizes as “marriages” sexual partnerships that many parents believe are intrinsically non-marital and immoral. Third, the common good of civil society is damaged when the law itself, in its critical pedagogical function, becomes a tool for eroding a sound understanding of marriage on which the flourishing of the marriage culture in any society vitally depends. Sadly, we are today far from having a thriving marriage culture. But if we are to begin the critically important process of reforming our laws and mores to rebuild such a culture, the last thing we can afford to do is to re-define marriage in such a way as to embody in our laws a false proclamation about what marriage is.

I’ll buy that with the caveat that “marriage is between two humans.”  Just like in Texas where no marriage is legal now as a result of knee-jerk Cult of Jesus crazies’ legislation.  Let’s just do away with the legal status of marriage and create a registry of unions that may make all men and women equal in the eyes of the law.  If the Cults of Jesus crazies have to have a Church sanctioned union then they can pay the Church for that “sanctified union” but all persons are created equal in the eyes of the law and the special privileges of marriage are inferred upon all humans by a government blind to religion.  There’s a clear solution that works.  I have a right to be treated equally in the eyes of the law to every other human in this great nation and I will not rest until that is true.

And so it is out of love (not “animus”) and prudent concern for the common good (not “prejudice”), that we pledge to labor ceaselessly to preserve the legal definition of marriage as the union of one man and one woman and to rebuild the marriage culture. How could we, as Christians, do otherwise? The Bible teaches us that marriage is a central part of God’s creation covenant. Indeed, the union of husband and wife mirrors the bond between Christ and his church. And so just as Christ was willing, out of love, to give Himself up for the church in a complete sacrifice, we are willing, lovingly, to make whatever sacrifices are required of us for the sake of the inestimable treasure that is marriage.

As for “love (not animus)” and “the common good (not prejudice)” it becomes glaringly apparent that you do not live with a sound grasp of reality.  Your statements are hateful, hurtful and with supreme prejudice in that only the Cults of Jesus are in possession of the path to righteousness or life with honor and that lie is exposed. In the eyes of the Government “marriage” becomes non-existent and is replaced with universal Civil Unions which convey the rights to child rearing, property ownership and transfer upon death and the tax benefits enjoyed under “marriage” today.  If you Cult of Jesus crazies require additional religious rights and sanctification within your religion then go for it.  We won’t stand in your way.  Just make me free from your Cult of Jesus religious tyranny and do it now.

Religious Liberty
The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners. Isaiah 61:1

Good for you and I reserve the right to slam the door, fire a warning shot and then shoot to kill for trespassing the next time you knock on my door to preach your gospel of hate, bigotry, racism and fear.  The arrogance of the Cult of Jesus is known and seen and is not going to be tolerated by a free and honest American society.  Freedom from religion is as much a right as freedom of religion.  If the Cults of Jesus had their way the United States would not be a nation within which Islam, Judiasm, Buddhism, Hinduism or Paganism is allowed and they present a clear and present danger to the security of this great nation with their intrusion into the political processes to inflict their will upon all citizens.  We do not deny them the liberty and freedom to practice their religion but they seek to deny equal protection under the law of anyone who holds views that are not perfectly aligned with their narrow, petty and bigoted view.

Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s. Matthew 22:21

And the relationship with God that I may or may not hold is between me and that God and let no man put it asunder.  As it stands today the Cult of Jesus “married” couple obtain benefits and rights from the government that I as a Gay man am unable to access with my spouse and my children.  We do not enjoy equal protection under the law.  That’s the reality and any position other than this perpetrates the fraud these hate-mongers have, for too long, applied within this society.

The struggle for religious liberty across the centuries has been long and arduous, but it is not a novel idea or recent development. The nature of religious liberty is grounded in the character of God Himself, the God who is most fully known in the life and work of Jesus Christ. Determined to follow Jesus faithfully in life and death, the early Christians appealed to the manner in which the Incarnation had taken place: “Did God send Christ, as some suppose, as a tyrant brandishing fear and terror? Not so, but in gentleness and meekness…, for compulsion is no attribute of God” (Epistle to Diognetus 7.3-4). Thus the right to religious freedom has its foundation in the example of  Christ Himself and in the very dignity of the human person created in the image of God—a dignity, as our founders proclaimed, inherent in every human, and knowable by all in the exercise of right reason.

And the God that you worship has no resemblance to the God that I know as an active and loving God within whom I live and breathe daily.  You are not “The only path” as your Cult of Jesus claims but only “a path” and the arrogance, the hate you spew is not found within the God that I personally know.  I desire nothing more than freedom from your Cults of Jesus and to have you separate from my government or taxed out of existence.  You are terrorist and dangerous in your delusions, declarations and demands for conformity to your narrow and petty world view.

Christians confess that God alone is Lord of the conscience. Immunity from religious coercion is the cornerstone of an unconstrained conscience. No one should be compelled to embrace any religion against his will, nor should persons of faith be forbidden to worship God according to the dictates of conscience or to express freely and publicly their deeply held religious convictions. What is true for individuals applies to religious communities as well.

There’s that basic hypocrisy all over again.  The Cults of Jesus are dangerous, terrorists and the biggest threat to national security and every citizen’s safety today.  These fundamentalist fear-mongering, hate-mongering, mob-inciting bigots have no place within the landscape of government and they press ever deeper into the political process as a method to inflict their petty will upon all Americans.  The Cults of Jesus do have rights to free speech but so do I and confrontation of the lies, the hate, the bigotry that they spew is the foundation of a righteous and living God.  I will not willingly subject myself to persecution as these creatures, these Cults of Jesus have inflicted upon me and my peers for too long within this great nation.

It is ironic that those who today assert a right to kill the unborn, aged and disabled and also a right to engage in immoral sexual practices, and even a right to have relationships integrated around these practices be recognized and blessed by law—such persons claiming these “rights” are very often in the vanguard of those who would trample upon the freedom of others to express their religious and moral commitments to the sanctity of life and to the dignity of marriage as the conjugal union of husband and wife.

Express away within the confines of your Cult of Jesus meeting halls, your dark back alleys, your bastions of bigotry and hate and know you are free to worship as you see fit.  I have a right to be free from religion just as you have a right to practice the religion of your choice.  That you feel it a requirement to declare your intent in public to work to subvert the rule of law, to conduct civil disobedience and to inflict your Cult of Jesus upon me is disgusting and deplorable within a free society.  I have too often seen and too often heard the hateful diatribe.  I know from experience the damage your hate-speech does to young people coming to know who they are within this world.  I see the absolute devastation of life that results from your corrupt priest, your malicious minister and the Cult of Jesus sexual predator.  Go far away and repent your sins and live in silent shame because you are seen and you are recognized as the vile and loathsome money changers in the temple and you are not worthy to speak the words of God.

We see this, for example, in the effort to weaken or eliminate conscience clauses, and therefore to compel pro-life institutions (including religiously affiliated hospitals and clinics), and pro-life physicians, surgeons, nurses, and other health care professionals, to refer for abortions and, in certain cases, even to perform or participate in abortions. We see it in the use of anti-discrimination statutes to force religious institutions, businesses, and service providers of various sorts to comply with activities they judge to be deeply immoral or go out of business. After the judicial imposition of “same-sex marriage” in Massachusetts, for example, Catholic Charities chose with great reluctance to end its century-long work of helping to place orphaned children in good homes rather than comply with a legal mandate that it place children in same-sex households in violation of Catholic moral teaching. In New Jersey, after the establishment of a quasi-marital “civil unions” scheme, a Methodist institution was stripped of its tax exempt status when it declined, as a matter of religious conscience, to permit a facility it owned and operated to be used for ceremonies blessing homosexual unions. In Canada and some European nations, Christian clergy have been prosecuted for preaching Biblical norms against the practice of homosexuality. New hate-crime laws in America raise the specter of the same practice here.

Caution in what you say Cult of Jesus bigots.  You have lied about the New Jersey Methodist meeting hall and we know it because when you take public money to support your “church” then you are obligated to serve all the public.  We know the vile discrimination you practice in the name of “Christian” love and will not tolerate your bigotry.  The Catholic Church and the Cults of Jesus crazies who have systematically denied basic civil liberties to humans deserve to be legislated out of existence and the world will be a better place.  The Catholic’s fear of homosexuality is well founded given its most recent history of scandal in molesting children.  Your other Cults of Jesus clergy are no better.  Your righteous indignation at what you perceive as “sin” is just that, yours.  When you promote the hate and revulsion because of some internalized self-loathing or fear of recognition it’s time you found some good psychological help and understand why you are compelled to these acts of hate and bigotry.

In recent decades a growing body of case law has paralleled the decline in respect for religious values in the media, the academy and political leadership, resulting in restrictions on the free exercise of religion. We view this as an ominous development, not only because of its threat to the individual liberty guaranteed to every person, regardless of his or her faith, but because the trend also threatens the common welfare and the culture of freedom on which our system of republican government is founded. Restrictions on the freedom of conscience or the ability to hire people of one’s own faith or conscientious moral convictions for religious institutions, for example, undermines the viability of the intermediate structures of society, the essential buffer against the overweening authority of the state, resulting in the soft despotism Tocqueville so prophetically warned of. Disintegration of civil society is a prelude to tyranny.

A more accurate statement is that “in recent decades a better educated population sees the clear bigotry and hate” that your Cults of Jesus profess.  Better a disintegration of the kind of “civil society” that you and the Cults of Jesus represent than to suffer the bigotry and repression of the Church ever again.  History is a great teacher and the history of the Cults of Jesus are clear and disgusting then and now.  Your arrogance, your hate and your fears are of no concern of me or mine but should they become of concern you may well be woe and much the worse for it.  You proselytize the condemnation of a class of people who comprise 10% of the United State’s population and expect us, expect our families to tolerate your hate?  Be warned, beware, because we will not tolerate the hate and we will not be silenced.  We are everyone’s brothers and sisters.  We have parents, children, aunts and uncles, cousins and you never know when you open your vile mouth to spew your hate just who you are speaking to.  I pray that God, in her infinite wisdom, will silence your vile words and bring upon you all you deserve for the damage you have brought into this world.

As Christians, we take seriously the Biblical admonition to respect and obey those in authority. We believe in law and in the rule of law. We recognize the duty to comply with laws whether we happen to like them or not, unless the laws are gravely unjust or require those subject to them to do something unjust or otherwise immoral. The biblical purpose of law is to preserve order and serve justice and the common good; yet laws that are unjust—and especially laws that purport to compel citizens to do what is unjust—undermine the common good, rather than serve it.

And we understand that all too clearly and will no longer be second class citizens to your Cults of Jesus.  The Biblical purpose of law was control of the population and control is not the rule of law within the United States of America.  You may stone your adulterers, be punished for eating shellfish but there will never again be a Matthew Sheppard murder that goes unquestioned because a Cult of Jesus crazy was preaching hell, fire and brimstone from the pulpit to inflame the hate.  Know that your days of hate are numbered.  Know that we are honest and right and moral humans who will not go silently away because we dare to confront the hate you spew.  Know that you are recognized and are being watched.

Going back to the earliest days of the church, Christians have refused to compromise their proclamation of the gospel. In Acts 4, Peter and John were ordered to stop preaching. Their answer was, “Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God’s sight to obey you rather than God. For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.” Through the centuries, Christianity has taught that civil disobedience is not only permitted, but sometimes required. There is no more eloquent defense of the rights and duties of religious conscience than the one offered by Martin Luther King, Jr., in his Letter from a Birmingham Jail. Writing from an explicitly Christian perspective, and citing Christian writers such as Augustine and Aquinas, King taught that just laws elevate and ennoble human beings because they are rooted in the moral law whose ultimate source is God Himself. Unjust laws degrade human beings. Inasmuch as they can claim no authority beyond sheer human will, they lack any power to bind in conscience. King’s willingness to go to jail, rather than comply with legal injustice, was exemplary and inspiring.

I understand the foundation of Dr Martin Luther King’s writings and practices on an intimate level from close association.  I find it offensive that you, who speak in terms on topics that will deny equal rights, hold the Reverend Dr Martin Luther King up as your sword and shield.  You are no Dr Martin Luther King.  You are a sick, petty, hate-mongering mob of ill-informed Cult of Jesus crazies who deserve to be lost in the backwash of a free and honest society that you work diligently to destroy.

Because we honor justice and the common good, we will not comply with any edict that purports to compel our institutions to participate in abortions, embryo-destructive research, assisted suicide and euthanasia, or any other anti-life act; nor will we bend to any rule purporting to force us to bless immoral sexual partnerships, treat them as marriages or the equivalent, or refrain from proclaiming the truth, as we know it, about morality and immorality and marriage and the family. We will fully and ungrudgingly render to Caesar what is Caesar’s. But under no circumstances will we render to Caesar what is God’s.

You speak eloquently of Caesar however your knowledge of God falls far short.  You are but minor institutions of man professing God for your own gain and we, loving and honest humans are working to preserve the real creations of God that are the Earth where we all must live and the blessings of the divine spark that lives within each of us and is worthy of equal respect.  Your hate speech is recognized and understood and I will not reduce myself to response on your level.  I have adhered to the history.  I have presented the facts.  I know in my heart that the voice I bring is inspired by a great and loving God who is appalled and embarrassed by the words of hate that you spew and the arrogance you express in delivering them as a declaration.
